Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure the survival of GIST patients and to assist patients and caregivers in helping live their life with GIST.

Our group provides a “virtual home” where GIST patients can find emotional support from their peers and learn more about how to live with GIST. Our community supports GIST patients and caregivers by offering in-person and virtual educational events, creating connections with other GIST patients and keep you up-to-date on latest GIST Treatments

Life Raft Group Canada is a registered Canadian not-for-profit patient association incorporated in 2008 to support GIST patients in Canada many of whom face numerous difficulties, both as cancer patients in general and as person living with a rare disease.

All donations will be used to further the work we do on behalf of GIST patients. GIST Sarcoma Life Raft Group Canada is a registered Canadian charity.
