Over ten years ago, LRG Canada began holding GIST Day of Learning one-day conferences and GIST LEARN half-day meetings in cities across Canada.  These conferences have been held in Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Burlington, Kitchener and Vancouver. These conferences and meetings feature excellent speakers and presentations and are intended for GIST patients. The in-person conferences are a great way to meet a wide range of GIST patients, caregivers as well as the speakers.

Beginning in 2020, with more and more events being held virtually, we have also been notifying LRG Canada members and mailing list subscribers about the excellent virtual webcasts and virtual GIST Day of Learning (GDOL) meetings being hosted by The Life Raft Group.
