The upcoming GTA GISTers Gathering is taking place on Sunday March, 25, 2018  from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Wellspring Westerkirk House located on the campus of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (details below). Doors open at 1:30 pm.

GIST patients and caregivers are invited to get together again to reconnect, become better acquainted and share our collective knowledge about living with and managing GIST.

Agenda:

David Josephy, LRGC President, has attended several worldwide GIST conferences in the past 3 months. He will provide some highlights from these conferences including an update on the GIST clinical trials by Blueprint Medicines and Deciphera.

Laetitia Tam, LRGC Director who authored the recently published LRGC GIST Patient Handbook, will provide an overview of the Handbook and how it can help you advocate for the best care within the Canadian healthcare system.  Handbooks will be distributed at this gathering.
